SALVAMONT
Eco-Shelter BucuraPresenting Renewable Energy as energy for the futureThis building is demonstrating solar energy as energy for the future: without pollution and noise, solar radiation is available free and unlimited.
Now six Photovoltaic Panels produce electricity from solar radiation. The electricity is stored in six batteries and can be used as AC and DC. Electricity is used in this remote area without connection to the electricity grid for lighting and the radio emergency radio station. Due to the positive experience with this future technology the National Park administration is interested in renewable energy for further application.
